About

I came up with the name, Ear to Ear, for multiple reasons. I post a lot of music on my page. So I wanted to share some of my favorite songs with people, from my ears to yours. This blog is also a strong reflection of my reality, or at least what I choose to share with you. The photos, the music, and the thoughts that I post on here, come from me. I wanted to be able to give an honest reflection of who I am, how I live, and how I think. So my blog serves as a sample of what’s in my mind, from ear to ear.

This is the reincarnation of my blog from before. I deleted it then decided to bring it back again because I liked having a place to post my favorite songs and the pictures I’ve taken. I explained it somewhat in this post. I also enjoy the blogs I follow a lot.

I do take all the pictures that are posted here. Sometimes I’ll post some of my friends’ photography but I will always credit it as such. Most of the pictures I post on here are taken using my Canon s95. When I feel like having fun, I bust out the Rolliflex, which is a very interesting camera. But 99.9% of the time, I stick to the Canon s95 because it fits in my pocket and it’s very convenient.

About me…

I was born on June 27, 1989 in Los Angeles, CA. My ethnicity is Palestinian…which means a little bit of everything. Haha. We Palestinians come in all sorts of colors. A lot of different nations have crossed through Palestine over the generations, so it’s really contributed to our ethnic diversity. I actually find it quite cool.

I’ve lived in the LA area my whole life. My whole family moved from CA to Palestine three years ago. So that’s why you’ll see some emotional family posts on here from time to time. Haha. But I go out and visit them every summer, God willing. I might move there forever once I finish school. I miss them a bunch.

I am a Muslim. Alhamdulillah. I just work on improving myself everyday and putting my best foot forward in this game of life.

I attend UC Berkeley and am majoring in both Civil Engineering & Architecture.

Sometimes I’ll post music that I create. Instrumentals, remixes, blends. For those curious, I use an MPC 1000, a record player, and a keyboard. It really depends on the situation. Sometimes I’ll add my own drums to the instrumental (still learning though haha). I play the piano so it’s easier for me to figure out melodies when I chop the samples into key board keys. I don’t take my music too seriously but I do enjoy making it. It’s always a lot of fun.

Thank you for visiting. I’m always humbled to hear feedback from all of you. Whether you’re someone I personally know, or a fellow blogger, I appreciate you taking an interest in this blog and I hope you enjoy it. If you have any questions, don’t be shy. Peace and safe passage.
